Henrique Afonso was born on the 16 of October, 1934. He was born and lived in Torreira until he was 14 years old. After serving in the army, he went to Lisbon where he lived and worked in a brewery. He does all of his works with precision, trying to get as close as possible to reality. Reproducing boats in a smaller scale has become almost an addiction for Mr. Henrique.
